Crossings between knowledges and cultures, art and science in dialogue, by curator and head of Arts at CERN Mónica Bello.

Once again, we find ourselves in the territory of an imagined border, where passports have no value since the line dividing art and science was erased many years ago. We will delve into this question through the affinities between the search for knowledge from technology and the work that artists, scientists and engineers produce together.

Borders without passports: relationships between art and science, panel discussion featuring philosopher of science and technology Eurídice Cabañes, digital artist Andy Gracie and Mónica Bello.

The course Conversations with aliens: dialogues between science and contemporary art directed by Alberto Murcia aims to show the artificiality of this invisible wall that separates art and science. The sessions will take place from 20 April - 11 May 2021.
