Since 2018, the Exhibitions and Events programme has offered spaces for public engagement with CERN through artistic expression. In collaboration with leading cultural and scientific institutions worldwide, this programme highlights the influence of science on contemporary culture and the role of artists in exploring its impact. Since 2023, artworks created during the residencies have found a dedicated space in the CERN Science Gateway

The exhibition explores the contradiction and doubt that arise in the face of a world whose ultimate essence escapes our direct perception

The CERN Science Gateway showcases art commissions by resident artists, including Yunchul Kim, Chloé Delarue, Ryoji Ikeda, and Julius von Bismarck.
