Dorota Gaweda and Egle Kulbokaite at the CMS Experiment

Former CERN residents Dorota Gawęda and Eglė Kulbokaitė, together with Giulia Bini, Head of Arts at CERN, will discuss their experimentation with AI systems, the development of new narrative forms and aesthetics, and the challenges posed by emerging technologies in artistic practices

In their work, Dorota Gawęda & Eglė Kulbokaitė address feminist-inspired theory and (science)fiction, technology-driven emancipation and the discursiveness of space. They work within a variety of media, spanning performance, installation, fragrance, sculpture and video. In 2022, the duo were the recipients of Collide and completed a dual residency between CERN and Hangar in Barcelona.

The conversation is hosted by the Art Department of the Swiss Post and will be moderated by curator Adrian Notz.
