Collide@CERN Geneva Award in Dance and Performance 2012

The Collide@CERN Geneva award celebrates Geneva as an important place for both the arts and science - past, present and future  as well as Geneva's unqiue role in the founding of CERN in the 1950s. The award marks CERN's 3 year cultural partnership between the City and Canton of Geneva who fund the award.

The first year of the Collide@CERN Geneva award was made in Dance and Performance and was open to choreographers and performers born in Geneva, or artists from any country currently working in Geneva.

The first laureate of Collide@CERN Geneva and the laboratory's first choreographer in residence was the acclaimed swiss choreographer Gilles Jobin. See News and Press release. See his Dance and performance residency blog  which details his time at the laboratory.
