Gabriella Torres-Ferrer is an artist whose work considers futurability, new digital epistemologies and subverting hegemonic narratives; power dynamics and means of exchange and production in a globalized networked society.
Their transmediale practice integrates new media, installation, video, web-based interventions, among other experimentations.
Torres-Ferrer has exhibited at The Wrong New Digital Art Biennale online and offline in São Paulo/Brazil, Mexico City/Mexico, San Juan/Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo/Dominican Republic; A.I.R. feminist collective, New York/USA; Phillip Martin, Los Angeles/USA; Curro, Guadalajara/Mexico; Gianni Manhattan, Vienna/Austria; Embajada, San Juan. They have participated with Occupy Museums Debtfair at the Whitney Museum of American Art and Museo del Barrio, New York.
In 2019, Torres-Ferrer received an Honorary Mention of the Collide Award.
