Amanda E. Metzgerā€™s practice revolves around network theory, authorship and seemingly unquantifiable data collection.

In her work, she is interested in how memories are made, measured, shared and generated and how to create a multi-bodied common consciousness. Her practice spans across multiple mediums, such as installations and videos as well as objects and photographs. Her work has been exhibited, amongst others, at the House of Electronic Arts in Basel, Kunstmuseum Luzern, Fliesengalerie Leipzig and Pilar Brussels.

In 2025, Amanda E. Metzger was selected for the Connect residency at CERN.
