Art commissions
Artists are supported in turning their research and exploration into new artworks following their residencies at CERN

The art commissions programme allows artists who have completed residences at CERN to expand their artistic research and exploration. With the support of scientific partners and experiments, artists transform their ideas into new art productions. These works are exhibited in museums worldwide, including the CERN Science Gateway. Since the programme’s launch in 2018, over 35 new artworks have been created through remarkable collaborations with companies, foundations, and institutions.
