Ale de la Puente is an artist and industrial designer with an M.A. in Naval Construction. Her work deals with notions of time, memory and space by combining conceptualism with multimedia supports. She often works in film and explores the world of time and space with deceptively tiny, domestic tools provoking deep reflections on a wider scale.
An Honorary Mention in the Prix Ars Electronica Collide@CERN 2012 competition and runner-up to Bill Fontana, de la Puente was recognized for her achievements with a week-long curated visit to CERN from September 9th-15th funded by the Mexican Ministry of Culture. At CERN, she engaged in a series of art/science workshops entitled Time, Scale and Space.
