Our first Visiting Artist in April 2014 was Dutch Composer/Director Arnoud Noordegraf who combines contemporary interdisciplinary media in compositions and theatrical forms.
He and his librettist Adrian Hornsby won the Honorary Mention in the first Prix Ars Electronica Collide@CERN open call in 2012. They have begun working on a large music theatre project called "I Sing a Particle" and Arts@CERN is supporting them by curating research visits at the laboratory, their first last year to research scientists' body language in discussions and lectures. This time, Arnoud visited CERN to continue his research and attend the scientists' Argentinian Tango lessons, with the CERN Dance Club to extend his ideas still further. Learn more about him here.
